Acne? GO AWAYYY!!!

Love

“Nez, your boyfriend keeps on looking at you while he’s walking through this class!” said my friend while I was doing as if I was reading a book, and I played with my hair. Although I pretended not to see him I knew he’s looking at me.
“So what? He has right to look at whatever and whoever he wants to!” I said, trying not to show them that I was shy.
“Woooooooo…!” yelled a few girls.
“Come on, girl! Don’t pretend to be cool! I know you’re shy!!” said my friend, laughing and shaking my body.
“And what are you reading?” asked she, trying to look at the book’s cover.
“KOBO CHAN!!” she said it loudly.
“Oh, my Gawdd!! You still read comic book! Damnnn!!!” she took the book away from me.
“So what?!? I just re-read it! Give it back!!” I said, trying to take my book back.
“Damn you, kiddo! It’s now time for you to read a magazine like…”
“Like what?!?” I cut her.
“Beauty care!” said my friend.
“How to date!!” said another.
“What to wear on your first date!”
“Damn…that’s too much! I’ve never had a date!” I said
“Don’t you read tips like how to take care of your face?”
“What’s that for?!?”
“Oh my Gawwdd!! You’re really a plain girl! Just read it before you get an acne”
“I won’t get any!”
“HAHAHAHAHA…RUBBISHHH!!”

Freedom

night street

She’s terrible, running away from her house for the sake of freedom she wishes to get; Wandering together with her friends at night after playing pool billiard and walking in the middle of the main street as no vehicle’s to be seen. She thinks it’s a freedom she enjoys, without having to realise that it’s a temporary one. She hides herself every time she thinks that her mom’s driving through the street, every time she sees the same type of car her mother has, a green Suzuki Escudo that is. The car just looks the same as another Escudos, but she can recognise whether it’s her mom’s car or not. A big blue sticker with the word Ocean Pacific on the top centre of the front side, on the glass and B 151 PW is the license plate, which makes the car so unique that she can recognise it quickly at night.

She and her friends used to have a basecamp which now has become a dangerous place to meet up after her escape. They always watch out while walking on its street as they all knew they’ll be questioned once one of her family members meet them. That place is no longer their basecamp and they decide to move. Every night she’s thinking of the place she’s going to sleep, but she’s lucky that her friends always accompany her and manage a place to sleep. They’re happy to have a few of friends who already live by their own and welcome them to stay there temporarily.

Playing pool is their daily activity, it’s something which is a ‘must-do’ for them, or at least, for her. They still enjoy playing after hours. Cafe Bali is one of their favourites. The background music, the Balinese sphere, a billiard table in the middle of the hall and the bar make the place very cozy, it’s indeed one of a nice moments they’re enjoying. Nevertheless, the party is a non-alcohol one. Late at night when they have to leave, she and one of her female friends decide to sleep at another friend’s house. Although she doesn’t know her friend she has no other option, they step into a small bus.

It’s a big house, a fat girl opens the door and welcomes us.
“Are your parents at home?” asks my friend.
“No, they’re in another city, they don’t come home tonight. Just come in!”
cocain-2-1Her friend apparently stays there only with her housemaids. Not long after that, her other friends come home, she also invites two guys, one of them has a backpack. All the people there are strangers for her and she has no idea why they’re there. She sees a strange stuff on the table, doesn’t realise that it’s a bong, nor does she know what it is for. Later at night they start using a strange stuff which she, again, has no idea what it is. The colour is white and it looks like a powder, and they start to sniff it into their noses. Then she realises it’s a drug, and those two people are drugs dealers. Although they give it over to another, she doesn’t try it, nor does she dare. However, her friend gives a warning sign not to try it, but she herself uses it. It’s an awful night as she sees a bag full of drugs. She sees needles, cocain, heroin; In short, it’s an unforgetable moment for her and she realises that she’ll turn 17 on the next day.

She has to meet her other friend on the next day, whom also is her friend’s friend. Three of them are the girls who escaped from their homes. She has to go to the basecamp to meet her, but on that day she doesn’t have a good feeling, as if something worse will happen, she feels as if her freedom will end that day. On her birthday. But she forces herself and goes to the basecamp, looking for her other friend. She meets another friends who tell her that a few of people are looking for her; Her friend and…her uncle. She gets shocked, not only because she heard it, but also because her feeling is true. She starts running away to a music studio which is located next to a shopping centre and sits on a sofa opposite to a desk. She sweats. Barely can breath.
“Yes, that person you’re looking for is here” says a man behind his desk.
She barely can hear what he said as she’s still trying to take a breath.
Not long after that, she hears a footsteps that sound very familiar to her, coming from the front door.

Fashion victim, trend and spoiled kid

I dislike fashion victim. I said a victim because the things someone wears don’t look good on him/her. Fashion victim is not a trendsetter. Fashion victim is a victim mostly because of a trend. I remember the old time when I was around 13 and people around me had to have Dr. Marten’s shoes that is oftenly called Doc Mart. I remember how people were forcing themselves to buy it. I said ‘force’ because I saw lots of people bought a fake ones as they couldn’t afford the original ones. My mom bought me one, a fake Doc Mart boots. She bought it because she thought its trend was a temporary one so she didn’t feel the need to buy an original one, and maybe, another people who bought a fake ones also thought the same as she did. I didn’t get why she bought it as I didn’t ask her, but as soon as I wore it I started to understand that it was a trend. I could make a difference between the original ones and the fake ones and I felt kinda ashamed to wear a fake Doc Mart and that’s why I kept on wanting another shoes. I prefered wearing another not-so-trendy shoes than wearing a fake Doc Mart. I have ever complained her for buying me a doc mart, but on the other side I appreciated her for trying her best to get me something that people around were wearing, she tried her best to let me follow a trend. And because of this she never bought something I didn’t ask, she became careful of buying stuff which she knew that I’d wear it every day because I am picky.

a new layout and a book that I’m currently reading

So, this blossom layout is finally up! I’ve actually made it a few months ago but the header, and the images background were messed up and I had no idea why, but yesterday I found out that making a transparent images and adding opacity in photoshop are the problem why I got a grey box on the header and images background when I viewed the site in IE 6. Besides that, I’ve also made a new layout on my portfolio site!

Nowadays I’m reading a book that’s written by Charles R. Swindoll, the book is about fascinating stories of the forgotten lives. This is an interesting book and I recommend you to buy, because it not only told you about those forgotten people, but it also explained you more about the famous people you knew from Old Testament. I said famous because I know you do know Abraham, Sara, Isaac, Jacob, etc, but I’m quite sure that you haven’t heard about Behalel and Aholiab, this is what makes this book interesting! Charles has clearly explained the stories in detail, from the story of Abraham whose faith has been tested by God to sacrify his son Isaac, he did it whole heartedly, without complain. Charles also compared it with our every day life, he said,”God, the Holy Ghost will show us how we live and die when we learn how to loosen whatever holds you.” He also said,”few of you parents may get the same situation when you read these pages. Your relation with your kid has probably reached a point where you have no choice but giving your kid completely to the protection of God.” At the time I was reading this part I realised that I myself was facing the same situation, the part when he wrote: how to loosen whatever holds you. Whatever and whoever. Last year, exactly in the month december, my life seemed to be held by a beloved one; I really felt I lost and I kept on asking,”God, please help me to comprehend why it had to end like this.
